Roku
Indian IPTV on Roku: the honest answer
Roku TVs are everywhere in American homes, but they are closed to most IPTV players. Here is what actually works.
Short answer
Most IPTV player apps are not available on Roku, so a standard Xtream Codes login cannot be added directly. The simplest fix is to plug a Firestick or Android TV stick into a free HDMI port on the Roku TV and watch through it. Screen mirroring from a phone also works for occasional viewing.
Step by step
Watching on a Roku TV with a Firestick
Plug in a Firestick
Connect a Fire TV Stick to a free HDMI port on the Roku TV and to power.
Switch the input
On the Roku home screen, choose the HDMI input the stick is on (you can rename it "India TV").
Install the player
On the Firestick, install IPTV Smarters or TiviMate, as in the Firestick guide.
Add your login
Choose Xtream Codes and enter the server, username and password from your email.
